The stone paper pages are genuinely waterproof — I spilled coffee on mine and just wiped it off with no bleed-through at all. A5 size fits nicely in my bag and the hardcover hasn't scuffed up after weeks of daily use.
I've been using this notebook for sketching with fountain pens and the stone paper takes ink without any feathering. Knowing it's made without cutting down trees makes me feel better about buying yet another notebook.
I spilled coffee on a page and it just wiped clean, which I honestly didn't expect from a notebook. The stone paper feels oddly smooth to write on too, and the A5 hardcover survives being tossed in my bag.
