The plant-based material feels surprisingly sturdy, and the curved edges make it comfortable to grip one-handed. Dropped it from waist height onto concrete the first week and the 3m protection rating absolutely held up, not a scratch.
Broke my old case twice last year, so the 3m drop protection was the main selling point for me. This one feels solid yet lightweight, and knowing it's made from sugarcane and cellulose makes me feel a bit better about the planet.
The curved edges feel really nice in hand, and the plant-based back has a subtle texture that’s grippier than I expected. It’s survived a couple of waist-high drops without a scratch so far, though I wish the sides were a touch thicker for extra peace of mind.
