The texture is surprisingly smooth and matte, not rubbery at all like I expected. It snapped right onto my phone, and I love how slim and light it feels in my pocket while still looking sharp in charcoal black.
I was skeptical about a plant-based case holding up, but the sugarcane and cellulose blend feels surprisingly sturdy in the hand. It's slim enough that it slides into my jeans pocket without a fight, and the matte charcoal finish hasn't picked up a single smudge in a week of use.
The charcoal color looks even better in person, and it’s impressively slim and light—I almost forget it’s on. Dropped it on the pavement yesterday and not a scratch, so the plant-based build is clearly tougher than I gave it credit for.
