I was skeptical about a plant-based case holding up, but the sugarcane and cellulose blend feels surprisingly solid—not flimsy at all. Dropped it from pocket height onto concrete and the curved edges took the hit without a scratch. The teal blush color is even prettier in person than in the photos.
The curved edges feel really nice in hand, and knowing it's made from sugarcane and cellulose makes me feel less guilty about dropping it. Survived a tumble off my desk onto tile without a scratch, so the 3m protection claim seems legit.
The plant-based material is a nice idea, and the case does feel sturdy in my pocket, but the sugarcane blend makes the surface a bit slick for my grip.
