The red is so vivid in person, and the plant-based texture has a nice, subtle grip that feels secure in my hand. It’s incredibly slim and light, barely adding any bulk to the 13 Mini, and it’s handled a few accidental drops without a scratch.
The sugarcane blend feels surprisingly sturdy for how slim it is, and the red is a proper deep pomegranate shade that pops against the silver frame. Dropped it twice on tile already and there’s not a single mark on the case or the phone.
The plant-based materials are a nice idea, and it does feel light in my hand, but the case is a bit too slippery for my grip. It’s protected my phone from a couple of small drops so far, though. I just wish the surface had a bit more texture.
