The pages feel smoother than regular paper and don't bleed through when I use my fountain pen. Knowing it's made without cutting down trees makes me feel better about going through notebooks so fast.
Spilled coffee on my notes and it just beaded off the stone paper — no smudge, no soggy pages. The A5 hardcover also feels sturdier than I expected for something made without any wood pulp.
The pages really are waterproof — I tested a drop of water on a corner and it just beaded up. Writing on the stone paper feels oddly smooth compared to regular paper, almost slick but the ink dries fine. Nice knowing no trees were cut for it, too.
